Thank you for visiting my blog. If you're reading this, you might be curious to know a little more about me or what I do. I think you'll get to know me best through my stories and pictures, but here are some basics...
I was born in Detroit on a cold Sunday in November. The Lions beat the Tampa Bay Buccaneers that day. My dad watched the game in the waiting room- that's what dads did back then.
I've been married to Sebastien for almost 6 years. He is everything I ever hoped for in a husband.
We live in Leesburg, VA, an area rich in history and culture. But we're new in town and slowly adjusting.....slowly :-)
Last summer we left behind a pretty good life in Chicago to relocate for my husband's job. I loved living in the city- we had many good friends, lived near the beach, Wrigley Field, the train, shopping, theaters & museums galore...plus we always had some fabulous pizza. Chicago has given me the greatest memories of my life, therefore I will always call it home.
We have two young daughters who make us laugh every day. They don't even try...they're just hilarious.
We also have a cat named Frankie J. who is currently trying to sleep on my keyboard. We also have a cat named Thelma, but she's on vacation in Atlanta. Long story.
I am amazed at anyone that can run an Ironman or a sub-3 marathon.
I despise seafood. Yeah, yeah I know it's healthy, but I despise it. Although you can always count me in for sushi...I just order edamame and a couple of vegetarian makis :-)
I used to be an accountant. Now I take photographs. But I'll never forget that assets = liabilities + owner's equity.
My family means everything to me. I tell my children I love them every day. A lot. Like 1,000 times a day.
I love, love, love Mac & Nikon- you will never see me with a PC or Canon. Never. I love taking pictures...I love candid moments...I love having that moment on my walls forever.
I'm passionate about what I do and try to live by the golden rule...sometimes I fail, but God knows I try!
